Annapolis City Dock/Annapolis Harbormaster

ANNAPOLIS HARBOR DOCKING & MOORING INFORMATION

Contact the Annapolis Harbormaster’s Office on VHF Ch. 17 or 410-263-7973.
Please do not dock without direction and permission from the Harbormaster.

• Dock in the heart of Annapolis and enjoy easy access to All Things Annapolis: You can see and walk to the Naval Academy (ID required), St. John’s College, the Annapolis Maritime Museum, and the city's best shopping, restaurants, and bars. Stay overnight in Ego Alley or dock for just a few hours. We also have 76 moorings with water taxi service available.

• Dinghies (max 17’ + max 90Hp) may be docked at Kunte Kinte-Alex Haley Memorial Park at the foot of Main Street.

• Prepaid reservation spaces are available, but most slips and moorings operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Upon arrival, contact the Harbormaster for a designated docking space on VHF 17 or call 410-263-7973.

• Moorings accommodate vessels up to 55' max length, except in St. Mary’s Cove under Spa Creek Bridge, where the limit is 35' max length. Rafting up is not permitted on moorings.

• Amenities for Boaters: Hot showers (available May–November), water, and electricity. Due to the City Dock Resiliency Project (see notice below), most slips do not have electric or water hookups at this time, and laundry is unavailable for the foreseeable future.

• Commercial WiFi is available through an outside provider.

• Seasonal water taxi service available (Hail on VHF 68).

• The pump-out boat provides boatside service anywhere on city waters. Hail them on VHF 17. $5 per tank.

• Discounted winter dock space available at greatly reduced rates.

• Have an issue or concern about the Annapolis waterways? We take great pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly harbor. Contact us if we can assist or address any concerns—it’s our job!

• Reservations available at: Annapolis.gov/Harbormaster.
